# Mechanical Designer

**Job Overview:**

Magal Solutions is a global leader in the field of security, specializing in the development of command-and-control systems and the planning and execution of integrated security projects for the protection of critical infrastructure and strategic sites around the world.

We are seeking a **Mechanical Designer** to join our team!

**Key Responsibilities**

- Conduct site surveys for existing and potential customers to support system design and pricing.
- Mechanical and structural design of Magal’s security systems and products – including structures, concrete, and plastic components.
- Document, validate, and maintain engineering drawings.
- Ensure execution of designs in the field through coordination with external contractors and suppliers.
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing, R&D, and procurement departments.
- Provide engineering support and documentation throughout project stages, including PDR and CDR.
- Work in close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders, both in Israel and abroad.

**Requirements**

- Mechanical or Civil Engineer / Practical Engineer (Technician) – **mandatory**.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design within an engineering company or in a military engineering office – **mandatory**.
- Proficiency in **AutoCAD** and **SolidWorks** – **mandatory**.
- Proven experience in the design of structures, concrete elements, and plastic parts – **mandatory**.
- High-level proficiency in **Hebrew and English** (reading, writing, speaking).
- Full proficiency in **Microsoft Office** – **mandatory**.
- Experience working with **PRIORITY ERP** system – an **advantage**.
- Previous experience in the **defense industry** – a significant **advantage**.
- Valid **driver’s license** – **mandatory**.

**Location**: Yehud (relocating to Modi’in within approximately one year)
