Hardware Engineer

We are searching for a hardware engineer to join a leading defense company that develops innovative defense systems on strategic sites.

Job description:

Ongoing work in the hardware development team and Collaboration with the software and service development teams, throughout the product life cycle:

Manage the requirements for the development and improvement of existing products/ new product developments
Writing development plans and work plans
Performing tests on existing Electronic cards, laboratory tests (validation) for a prototype card
Leading the production processes – defining components in the priority system and providing answers to problems in the production processes
Test the proper functionality of electronic cards
Writing ATP testing documents
Accompanying technicians at the Site during installations, and preparing a plan for tests in the field.
Self-learning and reading technical literature – performance of transfer from development to production
The work includes 10%-20% field work on-site

Requirements:

3 years of experience as an engineer in a hardware development team Degree in electrical and electronics engineering
Writing test documents for a system that combines hardware and software Establishing a test environment, and working with measuring devices such as:
Power Meter, Scope, Signal Generator Running manual and automatic tests
Experience in card development Layout and PCB design
Fluent Reading of technical English
Experience with simulation tools SPICE, LABVIEW – an advantage
Experience working with Micro-Controllers – an advantage
Experience with complex multidisciplinary systems – an advantage
