ConOps Manager

Job Overview:
As a ConOps Manager within the Product team at Magal Solutions, your role will be pivotal as part of the pre-sales & project delivery process, helping secure projects & follow-on orders from our customers.
By deeply interacting with different customer decision makers as well as with our System Eng team and sales managers, you will be responsible to define the winning functional solution for each customer, as well as conducting product demos.
In order to be able to perform this role you need to be with a solid background in defining & implementing operational procedures and ConOps in the security/law-enforcement/defense organizations. You will develop an in-depth understanding of our solutions along with specific solution concepts and needs for each of the industrial verticals that the company is active in.
This insight would allow you to identify & understand the unique needs of each potential customer in the different verticals.
Additionally, you will provide customer feedback and report emerging market-requirements to the product team & work closely with our Marketing, Sales, System Engineers and R&D teams, to help define and shape the development of solutions within Magal, based on converting capabilities and features into customer-centric benefits.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Defining Customer Solution of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) of both existing & new customers:
    • Interact with the relevant stakeholders at the customer organization alongside the sales manager in order to identify needs and pain points.
    • Define the winning solution in order to secure the bid, together with the customer & Magal’s system engineers.
  2. Conducting/Assisting Customer Demos: throughout the bid process and as required.
  3. Being the Subject Matter Expert on:
    • The systems and products of Magal and their added value for the each specific vertical.
    • The application of these with common, or vertical specific, 3rd party systems, as part of scalable offering to each specific vertical.
    • The common practices, industrial eco-systems and emerging requirements & trends in the verticals Magal is active in.
    • The added value of the systems, solutions and ConOps offered by Magal compared to competitive systems and solutions, and their SWOT analysis.
  4. Informing the Product Roadmap: providing feedback of market needs regarding the products and systems developed by Magal, by collaborating with the R&D.
  5. Defining MarCom Material: Work with the Marketing to define and refine sales-supporting marketing collateral and sales enablement tools.

Requirements:

  1. Pervious experience of at least 4 years in defining & implementing operational procedures and ConOps in the security / law enforcement / defense organizations.
  2. Experience working in an outer-facing role within an organization preferably external customers.
  3. Technology oriented with pervious experience with IT systems / complex SW applications / multi-disciplinary systems.
  4. Able to grasp details while keeping the big picture in sight.
  5. A dedicated team player.
  6. Hardworking and able to multi-task.
  7. Good-to-excellent written & verbal communication skills in
  8. Willingness to travel extensively.
