Job Overview:
Magal Solutions is a global leader in the field of security, specializing in the development of command-and-control systems and the planning and execution of integrated security projects for the protection of critical infrastructure and strategic sites around the world.
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys for existing and potential customers to support system design and pricing.
- Mechanical and structural design of Magal’s security systems and products – including structures, concrete, and plastic components.
- Document, validate, and maintain engineering drawings.
- Ensure execution of designs in the field through coordination with external contractors and suppliers.
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing, R&D, and procurement departments.
- Provide engineering support and documentation throughout project stages, including PDR and CDR.
- Work in close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders, both in Israel and abroad.
Requirements
- Mechanical or Civil Engineer / Practical Engineer (Technician) – mandatory.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design within an engineering company or in a military engineering office – mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks – mandatory.
- Proven experience in the design of structures, concrete elements, and plastic parts – mandatory.
- High-level proficiency in Hebrew and English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office – mandatory.
- Experience working with PRIORITY ERP system – an advantage.
- Previous experience in the defense industry – a significant advantage.
- Valid driver’s license – mandatory.
Location: Yehud (relocating to Modi’in within approximately one year)
